Narkis Contreras - Accountant

Narkis has 23 years of experience in accounting in both the public and private sector. Among her notable work history and experience is her position as an External Auditor for Deloitte & Touche in Valencia, Venezuela. In this role she actively participated in the planning phase and execution of financial audits, examined accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and accrued expenses accounts for medium to large scale companies. Narkis also held an External Auditor position at Chrinos Mendina and Associates where she reconciled balance sheet accounts, tested transactions for accuracy and prepared financial statements and disclosures in compliance with professional and firm’s standards. She also held both Financial Analyst and Supervisor positions at Heinz Food Company in San Joaquin, Venezuela where she performed cash flow and bank reconciliation, analyzed credit limit of export customers, and enforced controls around fixed assets. Narkis has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting from the Universidad Catolica del Tachira.
